New Members

Are you new to cycling, or just thinking about joining the Wheelers' but aren't really sure if it's for you? Our FAQ's might help you decide. You can also call Viv Slack (Club Racing Secretary) on 07974 308907 for an informal chat about cycling in the North West and Manchester Wheelers' in particular. Alternatively, you can . She will be able to provide you with all the information you need, with absolutely no obligation to join. You could also come along to one of our Club runs.

The Club welcomes all riders age 11 and over, regardless of their ability. Anyone wishing to be considered as a member should complete an application form (239Kb) and send it to the address shown.

All new members under the age of 18 must also complete and return a parental consent form (84Kb).

Simply fill in the details, print them off, sign them and send them with the relevant subscription to the address shown. If you have any questions about filling in the form, please read our jargon buster, which explains what everything means.

You can complete both of these forms on-line before you print them off. Just make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe® Acrobat® Reader®, which you can download for free from Adobe®.

Free Membership for New Members in BC Clubs

All new members to BC who belong to a BC affiliated cycling club will be able to join BC at Bronze level for free. Alternatively they can upgrade to Silver or Gold at a discounted rate of £22 or £49. Contact BC Membership Services for special promotional literature, or click the link on the left.

All active members of Manchester Wheelers’ Club are strongly advised to also become members of British Cycling, or the Cyclists' Touring Club. Benefits of membership include third party insurance and free legal aid.
